Omap3 evm

I just discover an Omap3 Evaluation module at my school laboratory and there’s some students that are going to start developing an GPS application; As far as I now they are kind of lost about developing Linux applications so I suggest them to look at the different SDK available like OpenEmbedded, Poky, Maemo SDK, Android; and to read about developing applications for Linux;

Tomorrow I’m going to start asking them about which SDK they want to use and in which programming language they prefer to use so I can give some hints and help to start in the right direction.

Circles

Just a couple of weeks ago I had a decent job which I quit just for a remote chance to be hired in USA by some company but actually didn’t really get a chance during the first approach I ask them for some time in order to get my stuff pack since I was moving from Moterrey to Mexico city and we schedule a new metting but they never call and I didn’t try to reach them again. Any way this company prove me that it was not a really good place to work since they didn’t handle properly my contracting process;

I can get back my previous job, but I prefer to conclude my studies and I’m already enrolled in two courses one is about FPGA’s and the other is about computer architectures design. But actually there is not much change regarding of my activities at the end I’m going to start in the obscure side of developing Linux device drivers.
